OmahaAccountable is a nonpartisan civic research project. We document the gap between what Omaha's decision-makers promise and what is delivered.
We exist because that gap is real and widening. Omaha deserves the accountability needed to close it.
Everything we publish is sourced, verified, and documented. Our work is based entirely on publicly available information. We show every source, explain our methodology, and acknowledge what we don't know.
We don't editorialize. If we get something wrong, we correct it.
We dig through public records, budgets, contracts, and meeting minutes so everyday Omahans don't have to. We follow the money and connect the details that tell the story of what's actually happening in Omaha.
